APA Titled Cancer and Lymphoedema Physiotherapist

Tara is an APA Titled Cancer and Lymphoedema Physiotherapist. She has developed a high level of knowledge and skill in treating people with cancer and lymphoedema.

Tara can help with;

  • Musculoskeletal problems related to cancer treatment, especially after breast cancer treatment.

  • Lymphoedema assessment, surveillance and management (including Complete Decongestive Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage); for limbs, the head and neck, breast and trunk.

Tara brings a wealth of experience, evidence-based practice and an empathetic understanding that everyone requires a personalised approach. She is passionate about enhancing survivorship and well-being outcomes for people with cancer at any stage of their cancer journey.  â€‹

Beyond her clinical work, Tara contributes to patient education initiatives with the Cancer Council, and physiotherapy student education at Bond University.

When she is not working, Tara enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle with her young family and friends, here on the beautiful Gold Coast.
